The app is compatible with vehicles that do not utilize connected services. Users can leverage an OBD scanner alongside iCloud sync to access offline vehicle data on their Apple Watch, iPad, and through widgets. While the best performance is achieved when used in conjunction with an OBD scanner or connected account, the app still allows users to retrieve NHTSA recall notifications and track trips without these integrations.

A complimentary initial 30 seconds of OBD scanning is available, with options to extend scanning time via purchase of ScanPasses for 24 hours or 7 days, or through a subscription.

Privacy and Security
